Josh, just to be sure you are not missing something here. It is very easy
to record an Auto Attendant greeting if you simply call into a voicemail box
and leave the greeting as a message in that box. Then, log into the user
portal for that voicemail, and save the file to your local drive and upload
it as a new greeting.

Quick and easy method.

Slightly off topic, would this method make it easier to implement a
simple way for end users to record the greetings for these attendants?
The current method is very cumbersome and difficult to manage.

Should I open an improvement request? I thought at one point there was a
ticket open for this but I can't seem to find it.

of all Auto Attendant extensions, with 100 added by default on new
installations. This is where you add new Extensions, and configure which
Attendants are used for the Default/Working/Holiday times. Basically, the
AA configuration you're used to doing in the Dial Plan will now be done on
this new AA "Extensions" screen.

Voicemail) extensions aren't Dial Rules any more that Hunt Group or
Conference extensions are. Auto Attendant configuration will be simplified,
since all its configuration will now be under Features -> Auto Attendants.
But the main goal is to simplify System -> Dial Plans (rules.)
