This is not a chip level problem but timing issue that gets exposed only at higher temp. The F/W is just adding an extra wait state while the code is being copied to RAM. So from conceptual level it is quite straight forward. It is a benign change and will work with new chip, old chip etc etc.
We just need to make sure that it is not having some side effects.
