Hmm...  making a linux-based phone without ability to run linux services is 
somewhat self-limiting :).  If one wants just a phone he may go buy one 
for very cheap.

I've never tried it personally, but it is available for installation and 
works for people. Don't know if anyone tried it on freerunner.
