If you think your liability went away when the "AHJ signed off" on an unlisted installation, think again. Even if you had a P.E. write the letter and the AHJ accepted it you're the installer, and still Liable. Check with your insurance underwriter, they usually have some very fine lawyer's who can explain why your policy won't cover you for this.
