Douglas, I'm aware of that but in this installation the horizontal length of the duct exceeds the new UL requirements pertaining to the length of horizontal ducting which may be protected by a UL 300 compliant chemical system, hence the sprinklers in the horizontal ducting. Still need some calculation guidelines. The only I can find even close is for non-materials handling ductwork, i.e.: extraction ducts, is for hazardous chemical vapors in the IFC and I don't think that this applies.
