Can you retrofit an electronic accelerator onto a valve it was not
manufactured for or would the valve need to be replaced also to keep the
listing?

That's where I was headed (since they trip in no more than 1.5 seconds)
but was curious about the travel time after trip (since still might have
a problem).  Then again, I may have been influenced by the use of
exhausters at the END of the supply main.
