I find it interesting that on the TYCO Vizor data sheet it directs you to Potter Electric data sheet 5401212, however when you search for that number on the Potter site you get nothing. The same for searches for Vizor and QOD. As Roland said the Vizor or any other QOD or for that matter a BB Exhauster located at the valve just shortens the trip time. An Exhauster located at the end of main helps to shorten the transit time by opening a 2" valve (the equivalent of 15 sprinklers) and allowing the trapped air to exist the system faster ahead of the incoming water.
