You are not dense... The ping looks good. I am troubled by the ipconfig -all results but I don't know too much about networking. You have other adapters listed. Are these related to a VPN device? I also wonder if there is a security issue with the VPN or DNS that doesn't want to resolve the domain name.
Are you free to mess with the network settings on this computer? I only mention because if it's issued from your employer, you may want to tread lightly. I was going to suggest to disable the other network adapters and see if that made any difference. If it's your employer's computer (or network device) you could call the help desk and tell them what your trying to do. They may be able to help. I don't have any other suggestions at this time. All the stuff you did was correct. Here is my screenshot of ipconfig for reference. It is quite a bit simpler. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: snap.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9645| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Danny8 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Danny8's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=27606 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77280 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
