I wonder about the extra network adapters shown in your ipconfig result. Looking at the task manager was a good idea as well.
You might want to turn Avast completely off for a while and see what effect that has. That's also a good place to look. I was using Avast free version and I think it's a good choice. I switched to MSE -- Microsoft Security Essentials -- (it's free) for my faster computer. The older computer I'm using right now has no AV on it (gasp!). Anyway, about that extra adapter. Open your network connections folder. Do you see several network adapters shown there? If you disable some of the extra adapters (if any), that might shed some light on the situation. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: snap2.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9649| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Danny8 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Danny8's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=27606 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77280 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
