Funny, I disabled Avast AV Mail Shield and my problem seems to have gone away . I disabled the shield because it wasn't scanning my emails anyway and I read it was unnecessary and caused problems with DBX folders in Outlook Express. Pure coincidence. Anyway I am not certain this has fixed things but to let others know I am using the latest free version of Avast. Attached is the Control Panel page which shows those ports on mySqueezebox.com as still failed even after the change, but I seem to be able to listen to internet radio with the SB server disconnected.
