By the way, I don't have the issues you are experiencing. But I'm sympathetic because their method for switching is convoluted. It doesn't help that their menu system is somewhat inconsistent.
Further, I don't like holding down the left key for five seconds. I avoid this and try to use the regular (inconsistent) menu to switch. But one really needs to learn the firmware menu trick because it always works. I wouldn't mind a slide switch on the SB; slide one way cloud, slide the other home. I've *tried* to train my father to use both ways and it's really a nightmare for him (he keeps forgetting how to switch).
