I've been following this because, as my earlier post indicated, I have pretty much the same problem, except with a Duet and a Boom. But the one thing I think might be a common factor is the 2Wire DSL Gateway/Router. My Duet worked fine with it, but when I got the Boom I had to switch the Router from 802.11b/g to 802.11g to get it to connect to the network. Maybe there's something else "unusual" about it.
Is it possible that the router isn't sending some "keep alive" packet back to the MSB server and MSB is dropping the connection? Sometimes I can start a station on the Boom or Duet and try to change the volume a few seconds later and they already can no longer connect to MSB. Other times they stay active for some time. But before last week neither had this problem... (Antivirus software shouldn't be a problem in my case, because I'm always connected to MSB, not to my computer.) -- kc5f ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kc5f's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19652 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77280 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
