I recently replaced the noisy stock fan in my S900 with an quiet one and the guy at the store told me that if I find my computer randomly freezing that I should get a second fan, as this is often attributed to the system overheating. If it's been happening for you ever since upgrading the processor my guess would be a $10 fan would cool that puppy down fairly easily and possibly fix the problem. (Just a guess)
