Thanks once again for your help it really is muchly appreciated im just
planning on sticking with os 9 I like the advantage of using two different
os's rather than having to switch my ibook to os 9 all the time lol

I haven't read the past dialogues on a total rebuild as when I got this I
assumed it was just a new hard drive needed now seems it might have been a
little more than that it was a good machine as I remember using it when I
was working with the guy who gave it to me along with an old 603 I think It
was that also needs some work it lost the hd as well.

But once again thanks and any more advice would be greatly appreciated.
