Copies are the way to go for playing, and I usually let other people do the copying. Finding good original games at a garage sale, thrift store, flea market, etc. is a rarity for me (especially since I don't go often anymore). However, I've found hundreds of copies or loose originals at these places. People often sell disk cases full of them for a few bucks. They don't have much value to the collector but are great for playing.
Now here's a question. If you own the 20-year-old original, is buying 20-year-old copies (likely pirated 20 years ago) still pirating? :-) Hugh -----Original Message----- From: C.E. I've been thinking about this... and wouldn't it be safer to play off backup copies? I mean, the disk could get munched in the drive, the label could get scratched going in and out... or is that attitude too anal for the rest of this group?
