Philo Agora's next talk will be Tuesday November 27.... Four of the founding members of Philo Agora - Lisa Thatcher, Peter Bowden, Hazel Popp and Derek Maitland will give their views on "The Struggle for Clarity".

Bertrand Russell perhaps put the question in a similar way: "To teach how to live without certainty, and yet without being paralysed by hesitation, is perhaps the chief thing that philosophy, in our age, can do for those who study it". The History of Western Philosophy


Each will give their views on the meaning of philosophy, to them, & whether it is a struggle for clarity ( in five minutes! ) and then open it up to the floor. If you catch the Chair for the evening beforehand Sam Alexander, also a founding remember, he will give you equal time.


Next Tuesday November 27 , the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, $5,00 fee includes coffee or tea, 7.30 - 9.00pm , Come a little earlier if you want a meal.
