Philo Agora's talk next Tuesday, April 15 will be Hazel Popp on Environmental Philosophy

Philosophy of the environment is a relatively new branch of philosophy arising from the ecological movement of the late 1960s. It now has an International Association . an annual conference, a journal and innumerable books including a Blackwell's companion .Hazel, a founding member of Philo Agora, asks whether, in light of the major environmental issues facing the world, particularly global warming, environmental philosophy can make a valid contribution.

Tuesday April 15 at the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, $6.00 includes a free cup of coffee or tea. 7.30 - 9.00pm. If you want a meal, come early, as the chef goes off at 7.30. All profits from the Fair Trade Cafe go to Third World development.
