I'm not too concerned about this. The panel in my mind serves two purposes: - indication of "success" of the sync setup - pointer to the preferences where sync can be configured Neither of those are critical enough that we need to be too worried about accidental dismissal, I think. The latter is discoverable by those who want it in the sync prefs.
