Front loading data type choice adds complexity to the account creation flow. 
I'm fine with Nightingale's suggestion to start syncing by default (possibly 
excluding password syncing by default) and just using the surface the customize 
link, but the door hanger is the right control to tell the user they're syncing 
and to give them access to a customize link.

Basically yes. We want/need to keep the FxA sign in part generic b/c it will be 
used in a variety of contexts. The fxa flow accepts some query strings so we 
know where the user's coming from and where to route them when they're done, 
but otherwise we want it to be uniform in different contexts.
