The use of descanso is probably unusual in the non-Southwestern US, so I would concer with "roadside_memorial" as a tag for these. That said, I do not know how valuable it is to map them. They are a big part of the culture in this area and so tend to be both elaborate and permanent, but in other parts of the US where I have lived they were often simple and temporary, not useful features for navigation. Their usefulness likely varies significantly with culture. Jesse B.
