I had really good reasons not to go, despite living in Minneapolis: 1. I was in England until May 15 on a 3-week holiday. Nuff said. <g> 2. I probably wouldn't have gone anyway even if I had been at home, because there just doesn't seem to be enough sessions that are interesting to someone who's been in the business for a long time. 3. I am also ticked off at STC in general, and my local chapter isn't inspiring me much any more. I used to be very involved in the chapter, but have stepped back. 4. I haven't renewed my membership this year. It's my own nickel now and I just don't see too much value for money coming out of it right now.
