At best, the en_GB translation provides an additional way of contributing. But I am concerned with how we'll leverage it. As a developer I think we're going to have a hard time importing strings back into the code. I think gettext won't help, and working with regular expressions will be a pain. So please, provide a proof of concept for the import script before people spend precious time on translations.
I still suggest we get 2 kind of contributions, each with the simplest tools : - domain experts indicating the right terms on a mailing list, forum, bug report or anything fast and unobtrusive - based on these suggestions, technically skilled people fixing the code and submiting it to the Quality Team.
