I am quite sure that many normal users are happy to have the time of day displayed on the Touch screen. Especially those using the alarm feature. I saw several requests concerning time display format, so I guess those people are interested in time display feature. As far as I am concerned, I would certainly not ask TinySBS to update time via internet. I would even consider this as a problem, since I consider that TinySBS should behave normally without internet connection (I read several posts showing that I am not alone thinking this way). I am quite sure that most normal users can hardly understand why it is not possible to manually set date/time on the Touch. This is such a basic feature, that I thought I missed it. Thanks to point out http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17164 I think this is indeed a real problem, and there is no workaround if you move your Touch to a place where you have no PC and no internet access -- nicolas75 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ nicolas75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15823 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87431 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
