Hi Kim, Good News: Your suggested test was successful. The correct IP was obtained. The delay in my response was caused by the fact that I had to again recycle the modem and router in order to get back on the internet. However the correct IP was retained and Touch is now able to communicate with mysqueezebox.com.
The concern, of course, is that the next time the wireless must be restarted it may revert to the old "bad IP" mode, apparently caused by a conflict with Vonage. So do you know of any way to prevent this from happening in the future? There is a history of the connection going off from time to time...not often, and usually not for very long. But obviously that is not acceptable so I need to fix this if possible.
