まずは翻訳お疲れ様でした！結構、大変だったんじゃないかと思います。 同じThe Document Foundation関連の翻訳をしているものとして、せっかくなので査読をしようかと思います。 ちなみに、私もかなり悩んだのですが、和文では "The Document Foundation" と "Document Foundation" のどちらが良いのでしょうか？原文の方で文中でも "The" が大文字で始まるので、 それも含めて固有名詞と判断して、私の翻訳では "The Document Foundation" としていますが、森本さんの方の翻訳では "The" が無かったので。日本語的には "The" を入れない方が読みやすい気もするのですが。。。 さて、以下、インラインで査読コメントをつけましたのでよろしくお願いします。 > We are simply moving to a new and more appropriate organisational model for > the next decade - a logical development from Sun's inspirational launch a > decade ago. > > 次の１０年に向かって、新しい、より適切な組織のモデルに移行するだけです。−それは１０年前のサンマイクロの感動的ＯｐｅｎＯｆｆｉｃｅの発表を論理的に一歩進めたに過ぎません（の論理的発展に過ぎません）。 脱字があるようです。「感動的なOpenOffice.org」かと思います。 あと、括弧書きで2つ訳がありますが、私は「論理的に一歩進めたに過ぎません」の方が良いかなぁと思いました。なんとなくですが。。。 > Note: there are other examples of this usage in the free software > community - e.g. the Mozilla Foundation with the Firefox browser. > > 注：フリーソフト コミュニティーに同じような例があります。 例：Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ ブラウザのthe Mozilla Foundation です。 Mozilla Foundationに関しては、"the" を付けないのが一般的かと思います。 http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Foundation > Q: And why are you calling the software "LibreOffice" instead of > "OpenOffice.org"? > 質問： そしてどうしてＯｐｅｎＯｆｆｉｃｅ．Orgを ＬｉｂｒｅＯｆｆｉｃｅと呼ぶようにするのですか？ > A: The OpenOffice.org trademark is owned by Oracle Corporation.
