Thanks Peter and all who responded. I do have a serial to usb converter but it doesn't support MIDI
I'll get that usb midi converter sometime. Ah, but first things first. I need to have my keyboard repaired. And it might be cheaper to replace than to fix. I'll see. It's an Alesis.
