Can anyone say - what will Leopard need as a minimum? G3? G4? PCI? AGP?

Don't breach your NDAs. But a hint would be helpful, since I have some new equipment to purchase.

"new" is the key.

The only sure bet is that the machines shipping the day Leopard ships will be able to run it.

I'd say 90% probability that the machines shipping today will run it.

Beyond that, you're talking about playing "guess Jobs' mood". Even if the betas of Leopard run on older Macs, they'll probably cut many off in the final version, just because they can.

If shrink-wrapped Leopard dropped support for G3, I wouldn't be suprized...

Just my opin,
- Dan.
