Hi Mark : Hope to find time to D/L your anim soon .

A kind of Scope, but scope of objects' distribution (or 3d > particles). Paint hairs or trees by VSL! Can it be done? > Mark H Doesn't this go back a year or so again (as mentioned in my recent unanswered mail on this thread) when I asked you if VSL allows for "Boolean Logic" expressions ? Most Landscape programs use very simple ... "if x is less than y , then z , if not then a" . You replied back then that VSL could handle simple nested 'if' statements . However , are much more complicated 'if/if not/if not that but if this/or else' type statements avail- able in VSL yet ? If so , how ? Or is that what you are asking Vesa (not sure) . Obviously , various noises can be used for distibution & RS3D provides a built in noise or 2 that would probably do the job , but exactly how to place that noise has always been of interest to me . We had that simple capability in V3.5x but I don't see it (yet) still in V5.x's VSL , even though Vesa has mentioned that it is possible . Thanks . studio
