What version of OpenOffice.org are you using? Versions 2.0.2 and below did not work properly. Version 2.0.3 SHOULD work with Mail as the program. Use open -a /Applications/Mail.app for the program. Version 2.0.4 is hard-wired (that means programmed) to use this combination. Due to a problem with Thunderbird mail, it is not possible, at this time, to use it as the mailer on the Mac version.
