1st question: Under the Basic Piece I have a Star Ship Record Sheet in a PNG format for the Star Ship. I would like to mark ti up in some way to represent damage. Best case would be to have a right click option on mouse to leave a mark on record sheet where I right click. Is this possible?
Yes - use layers with an activation command. Put your check mark on its own transparent layer 2nd question. Yes all is possible - without seeing what it is you are doing though, Im having a hard time visualizing it. Probably best to configure the layers with a marker in conjunction with the game piece layer stacking trait to get the arcs to stay below the basic counter. Someone else can chime in with the specific answer perhaps _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of styxx42 Sent: Monday, July 10, 2006 3:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [vassalengine] Counter layers and some help Hello I am working on a Space Combat MOD with Capital ships and fighters. I have two things I would like advice or direction on. Under the Basic Piece I have a Star Ship Record Sheet in a PNG format for the Star Ship. I would like to mark ti up in some way to represent damage. Best case would be to have a right click option on mouse to leave a mark on record sheet where I right click. Is this possible? Or is there some other way I can either put a check in the damage box or would I have to some how create a Chit box and drag a chit that represents damage over to the Star ship record sheet that was hit and would this save if I closed the SSRS (star ship record Sheet) if I closed it? Second thing I am working with is a Firing Arc png for each weapon and ship. I have firing arcs that I would like to call up if necessary (for whining players that think the weapon is not in ARC) for each vessel using a Key combo. I have created them in GIMP, save them as a PNG added a layer below the basics piece, aligned it with the offset, but I would like the piece to stay below the ship when I call it up. Is that possible and I am just missing a check mark? Also is it possible to have it transparent? Thanks [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
