Seems there are several of us that open the list first thing in the morning and
put it to bed at night. As you do Joyce, I do the same. I wish there was a way
for all of us to get together. The closest we have come is at the Sowbug show
when we had 37 members there. We had a get together at the show one afternoon.
I was presented with a box of flies.

Tony

I agree..and sad to say, I, like others, am getting older and not fishing nor
tying as much.  However, this list is the first thing I read in the morning,
and usually the last I read at night, so I am still very dependent on learning
more from those who know so much more about fishing and tying than I do.
And..I love the recipes for food, the patterns, the fishing reports, and am
always happy to add prayers for those who are on this list and those they love.
 Keep it coming. Joyc

I think after a while there is not much to say so things slow down quite a bit.
Don, and Jimmy have really tried to keep things going but we still slowed down.

gathering of the troops into Googlegroups was a good saviour when the Troutnet
domain suddenly died on us. We did lose quite a few members though. 3,5 years
later we are 209 of us - a third of the former list. But I don't think
it made a big change in traffic. "The Big Four" (as described by the About Us
list) - Don, Tony, JimmyD and Jimi, were quickly back on track and started
to generate replies from the rest of us. My Outlook post file never noticed a
difference. LOL
