I've tried several different versions of Disk Tools, from 7.1 to 7.5
to 7.6, and none of them worked. I also downloaded the System Enabler
for the Centris and added that to the various Disk Tools disks, but
that didn't work either.
I even tried the original System Install disks for System 7.0, and
that Disk Tools didn't work either. I also tried booting with the
Install Me First disk, like Beachycove suggested, but the Centris spat
that out like all the rest, without even showing the Happy Mac icon.
Sounding to me like taht floppy drive isn't working.
Can you put the HD into another Mac, and put a good system on it
there, then move it back to the Centris?
