HI, I use plaintext for long documents. On iphone 4 it was getting slow after it became longer. Have not tried on the 5. I have not found a good way to find a specific spot in a file other than arrowing with the keyboard. However, I found that it does remember where you left the cursor even after exiting the app. Have not tested if it does so with multiple files.
