It happens with cameras as well. There are the rumours well in advance of
the product, lots of wishing for things. Then there are the rumours closer
to the release date. With Nikon pro and semi pro cameras, these tend to be
fairly accurate, so we actually have all the specifications ahead of time.

Then after the release there is all the outrage over perceived flaws,
especially as the cameras are now reaching 16 and 18 megapixels and show
up the flaws in cheap lenses as well as deficits in user technique and
knowledge.

Then there's all the anger over not meeting all the wishes of the camera
users.

Real problems are loudly said to be user error, unless a person can prove
that they really did get a dud.

User errors are said to be flaws in the camera. Lots of cameras returned
after a week or two, exchanged for new of the same, or the person decides
to wait for the next great camera to come out!

Apple rumours and predictions do get more press.

But pro and semi pro camera rumours, speculation and after purchase
ballyhoo are completely mad.

Cheers, Susan.
