I tend to agree with Steven, having a community website that doesn't
let you create web page content using standard web page markup is a
bit odd, especially for a company and community so devoted to using
common interoperable standards...

It seems clear from the quantities of content that are/were in html
that the website needs to support html-markup as a first-class
mechanism - if only because OpenOffice, Word, Publisher and most other
document production tools generate HTML and not XWiki.
