I like the design, but the small versions don't read well. They'll probably need to be adapted so that the reversed text is either axed or legible. And maybe a crop-in on the snake's face for the small one, for the same reason.

This is pretty SOP for folks who do identity design (as you probably know). Although sameness is very important, in reality, to *look the same* is more important than *being the same*. Adaptation is often required for small sizes on low-resolution media (like displays) ... to typography in particular.

I like the concept, I'm comfortable with the "vibe" of it (am not concerned about corporate-ness) but I agree that the wrench isn't perhaps the most "web" thing. Of course, I don't have a better suggestion. :-)
