Thanks Alexander,

This has been helpful, and I've tried to make them as reproducible
as possible to make fixing them easier. Montage is driven by volunteer
developers though, and unfortunately both active developers have currently
a lot going on - we hope to get some of the low hanging fruit out of the
way - but it's not possible to make a hard commitment. From what I
understand, we expect some improvements to happen over the next weeks.
Nobody likes this situation, but it's also a reality of open source
volunteer-driven development. I understand that this is disappointing.

There are currently two things people can do to help:
* Help find the reproduction steps: if the developer knows exactly which
set of steps to perform to find the bug, that helps them a lot and saves a
lot of time in searching. We have a beta-version of the platform in
parallel, which you could use to test out these issues in more detail, if
you're interested. It might be the case that some of the experiences you're
having an interaction with the fact that you have very big campaigns. If we
know that something is a problem with a campaign of 10000 images, but the
same juror does not have this problem with 100 images, that is
incredibly helpful in finding the root cause.
* If there are other developers that want to help out, I would encourage
them to reach out (see GitHub <https://github.com/hatnote/montage>).

It is also helpful that you're indicating which issues are the biggest
problems, this does help with prioritization.

Best,
Lodewijk
(writing this in a personal capacity - just doing my best to help out!)
