Hi Fred,

there are two options:

If you only have one sound card then all system sounds must be disabled otherwise they are liable to be transmitted on air.

If you have a separate sound card for your rig then that sound card must never be set to the Windows Default sound card nor set to the Windows Default Communications sound card.

An application will appear in a Windows Audio Mixer when that application has selected the mixer audio output device for output. Note that there is a Windows Audio Mixer for each audio output device (Speaker in MS Windows audio terminology).
