Okay, well, I see what you're all saying about submitted code needing to be verified and roms being no good if they�re not available, but the answer to all this is quite simple.
I won't bother! Hell, it's less effort for me that way :O) I'll continue to play about with any unemulated stuff that I find for my own benefit and use, I may even maintain my own set of drivers (privately of course, wouldn't want to upset anyone!). It may all seem petty, but this is not the first time that I've been left to feel jumped on when I expressed an opinion (even if that's not what happened here, it's how I felt pretty quickly!) I could rant on, but I won't. Suffice to say (and I'll repeat), the only beef I have is that when you read all the copyright notices and warnings in the code and on the website about NOT distributing roms, and all the concern that there is when a company like Namco, Nintendo or the like starts to sniff about, I find it hugely hypocritical that the roms miraculously fly about all over the place once submitted.
