Actually, on the Detroit ambient tip: remember the Random Logic one on The
Black Label all those years ago? By Robert Hood? The inner track on one of
those sides is a really exquisite piece of Detroit ambient, with the 909 in
there too, of course. Oh, and on the same tip I have to shout the
Netherlands EP by Joe Louis, I can't believe this record isn't more well
known!! The track Netherlands even appeared on some comps (according to
Discogs), which attests to it's beauty. That's some lovely 313 ambient.

Crackdown is indeed the Psyche release on Transmat

Then there's Tedra (Kenny Larkin) and At Les (Craig again), but that's all
so obvious - I'm sure some spotters out there wil have some more obscure
suggestions

OK, 'Crackdown' is the Carl Craig thing on Transmat right? But what's 
'Man From Tomorrow'? Are you referring to the Mills track, or is it
