I do seem to remember him taking a good few heavy hits in both the
dance and rock press in the UK for his flirtations with A Guy Called
Gerald and Drum and Bass in general (and rightly so as it was utter
tosh) and many of those comments did revolve around him being "too
old"to really understand the culture and energy behind this music. I
haven't really been paying attention to either recently so I'm not
sure what they are saying about Madonna currently but I thought that
her current track was just one step away from Eric Prydz and the
whole "I can't believe they've sampled that and used it in a Trance
record" sort of things- nothing against her in general though and I'd
be quite happy to "sell my soul" and do a few remixes for her :)
