you see, those ambiguities are why I said the HIG is not enough to be
used
as a design specs ;)

ok I understand, but I'm not ok with it, first because I don't think
preferences should go in 'Edit', maybe because we're talking about a
contact and we can't 'set it up' (maybe custom nick, etc...) but then

not better than those who wrote the HIG, so I leave that to them and you
can ignore my personal feeling on this... but webcam prefs has nothing
to
do with a 'chat window', it should be in the contact list menu.. compare
with MSN 7.5's menus.. I think we should mix up MSN7.5 menus with
current
menus (more for functionality reasons, like chat style for ex.) and use
the HIG to glue all that together... webcam prefs shoudn't be in a chat
window menu imho.. but I understand why you did it and thx for the
explanation.
