You must stop at 6.x first. That was our original mistake also ... but no it wasn't OUR mistake, that's what support told us to do. arrggghhh

We unsuccessfully attempted to upgrade ARS last night from 5.01.02 patch 1389 to 7.0.01 and had to recover back to the original version. The Installed updated the database, but when it attempted to restart the server it had problems. It gave the following messages: The server was not available, Failed to restart the service Remedy AR System server, Unable to restart, Server could not be started, you may start it manually. Has anyone run into this problem? We may try to go from 5.01.02 to 6.3 them to 7.0.01 next and see if that helps. Andy L.
