The damage radius is the  splash damage radius.
If the range is big enough, the first unit to enter the square will be alone when the attack happens. Maybe splash damage should go to the nearest squares
too. Maybe the basic range should be smaller, so when the trap attacks several units would be affected.
I'm not sure to understand what traps are supposed to do.

this isn't considered in the continuous space?
Currently, in the continuous space, the unit that have a range greather tan the size of the scare, can attack to a reached scares with their range?
And if the attack have a big splash damaje, can reach another scares?

Imagine a skill called nuclear bomb. You can put that the range of impact is simply 0 metters (is a camicase nuclear xd) but the explosión reach a área of three scares.

With continous space, this is not to hard to be implement... I think.

And the traps, for that i can see in the game, generally their are a small buildings, that have an atack with small range (imagine when a unit stand on it) but their atack is a explosion, and when it explodes, damage the unit, and their friends.
A, one doubt. how many the splash damaje? Is the same damaje of the atack? or the damaje is less.
