Per your request here is a new subject to match my comment. I only
use my imagination to evaluate your comments and I try to make it
clear that it is my evaluation. I never want to put words in your
mouth nor do I wish to label you. I did not say you wished to abolish
all taxes.

I wonder if you are aware that US government is now much bigger and

Yes, I am aware. How much bigger, given inflation of both population
and dollars, is a good question. However I will give you that
government is bigger today than ever before. Of course, we never
kept a standing military force prepared to fight a war at the push of
a button before WWI.

I also want to go to the moon, John, but given that I am sixty-one I
suspect if I get there it will be my ashes only.
As small as WWI or before? No way will that happen unless there is an
international disaster and major die-off of the human species. Of
course we might be on the way to that already due to environmental
changes. I hope that I never see it though. I suspect the magnitude
of pain and suffering of such an event would be tremendous. Now when
we decide to get serious about dealing with global climate change
government spending will balloon even more, so prepare yourself.
