If I am reading my planner correctly we will still be in the Bancroft Basin on the 25th.
Actually I am terrified of turning around in the basin with all those other boats in close proximity and people watching. Any good suggestions? ... The thought of a Mini-GIG is so much fun. I remember reading about them the last time I was on the canal. I never got to go to one. Just got to read about them. Felt as if I knew some of the people at them. Sort of off the canal topic - The Black Country Genealogy List has had a few gatherings. I tried to get them to call them GIGs as very few of them had met each other except on the internet. They have been held since 1999 and have been called Reunions - genealogy will do that to you. Long story short - those reunions are a direct result of the GIGs and Mini-GIGs held here on the canal list. I helped with the planning of the first one.
