I thought that when we took Odyssey (70 foot) down there this year. Actually, there's more space than it looks, and turning isn't a problem. In fact, you've already done most of it if you've got yourself onto one of the pontoons. Or you could wimp out and go onto the river to turn. I actually thoroughly enjoyed going up to the head of navigation on the Avon a couple of years ago - a very pleasant couple of hours. Keir
