I am considering getting a lift for the Catalina 27. This would allow me to dry sail the boat and not to worry with bottom paint. A neighbor has one and we are negotiating on the price. My question here is how would I best rig a cradle to hold the hoisted boat? Any suggestions as to size and dimensions or shape would be appreciated. Actual plans might be a good idea if anyone has them. Does anyone know of a Catalina 27 that is hoisted on a lift in this manner?
