Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)
------------

     10/18: A HUDSONIAN GODWIT was observed at the Visitor’s Center. A NELSON’S 
SPARROW was seen at Martens Tract.
     10/23: The HUDSONIAN GODWIT was seen at the Visitor’s Center. Also seen 
there were a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, a CACKLING GOOSE, and a late PURPLE 
MARTIN. 7 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS were seen in the Main Pool. 10 LONG-BILLED 
DOWITCHERS were found at May’s Point Pool. 4 NELSON’S SPARROWS were seen at 
Martens Tract. The AMERICAN AVOCET is still at Puddler’s Marsh.


Madison County
------------

     10/16: 8 PINE SISKINS were spotted near Sheds.
     10/22: A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen on Kiley Road near New Woodstock.


Onondaga County
------------

     10/18: 6 PINE SISKINS were seen at Highland Forest.
     10/23: A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was found at the Skaneateles Conservation Area.


Oswego County
------------

     10/21: An ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, 2 PARASITIC JAEGERS, A LITTLE GULL, all 
3 SCOTERS, a RED-THROATED LOON, and a RED-NECKED GREBE were all seen at Derby 
Hill
     10/22: 14 species of waterfowl including all 3 Scoters and a CACKLING 
GOOSE were all seen at Derby Hill.
     10/23. A POMERINE JAEGER was seen at Derby Hill.
