TRUMPETER SWAN CACKLING GOOSE GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE ROSS’S GOOSE EURASIAN WIGEON GOLDEN EAGLE SANDHILL CRANE LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER ICELAND GULL NORTHERN SHRIKE CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC) ------------ 11/1: A drake EURASIAN WIGEON was found in the Main Pool looking from the spillway. 11/4: 9 TRUMPETER SWANS and 11 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS were seen in Knox-Marsellus Marsh. 13 SANDHILL CRANED were found in Puddler’s Marsh. 11/6: A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was spotted in Knox-Marsellus Marsh. A NORTHERN SHRIKE was found on VanDyne Spoor Road. 11/7: A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE and a ROSS’S GOOSE were seen at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. Onondaga County ------------ 11/2: A CACKLING GOOSE was seen in a pond on private property in the Town of Pompey. 11/7: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen in the fields opposite the Eagle’s Nest at Three Rivers WMA north of Baldwinsville. Oneida County ------------ 11/4: A late CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was spotted in Camden at a private residence. Oswego County ------------ 11/5: 8 species of Raptor including ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK and GOLDEN EAGLE were seen migrating from Bishop Hill Road northe of Pulaski. Madison County ------------ 11/5: AN ICELAND GULL was found at the Madison County Landfill.
